Stattlab presents: the four elements featuring sound artists Berenice Llorens & Yeve //

The air we breathe, the fire we burn, the earth we till, the water we sweat // These four elements comprise and inspire our world, thus we have asked artists within our community to showcase works which explore these concepts of foundation. Expect to enjoy photography, screenprint, mixed media, and of course, sound.

About the live performance:

Berenice Llorens is a composer and live performer from Córdoba (Argentina) based in Berlin. Llorens composes real-time electronic musical experiences capturing and reinterpreting soundscapes of nature and the city. Oscillating from broken and alive pulses through the sonic textures of electroacoustic music and techno, she creates atmospheres in constant transformation. Her solo and collective work and performances has been exhibited at Mutek Montreal (CA)- (AR), Oi Futuro (BR), Earth Day Arts Model (USA), Now Net Arts (USA), el Centro de Arte Sonoro (AR), LPM2023 (Münster), Acud Macht Neu (Berlin), among others.

Yeve is a non-binary experimental electronic and opera music composer and performer. Their work primarily revolves around experimental, electroacoustic, and ambient music, drawing influences from opera and contemporary pop. They constantly challenge the limits between electronic music and amplified voices, all the while maintaining a keen awareness of the artistic and political landscapes.
