Bookbinding!

A hardcover sketchbook with 64 pages, stitched and with a linnen cover, that was what we did together in this Friday’s four hour bookbinding workshop! An ambitious program: Cutting the grey cardboard for covers and spine, choosing textile material and stretching and pressing it with glue to the cardboard, getting the cover into the right shape and letting it dry, picking and collating the sheets, folding and stitching them together, adding book end papers and gauze, pressing and cutting the block, putting block and cover together…

It was a lot of fund – thanks to all who participated!
